R.I.P. Loxy

Loxy, a bon vivant and regular man-about-town, went to join The Greatest Generation of family pets on that eternal ‘farm’ where Duchess, Jenkins, Fee-Fee, and Alberta were awaiting his arrival. He joined our family in 1996 when the children fed this foundling kitten an entire plate of lox and then exclaimed, “Look, Mommy, he was hungry!” . He had a million lives instead of nine, all of them filled with adventure and some involving the vet. Loxy rolled around the floor with Duchess, slept with (and sometimes on) Fee-Fee, and generally had a casual and nonchalant attitude towards other cats and dogs. He loved his people and luxuriated in human affection and touch. Our “Loxykins” was a special guy. He was a kind and gentle cat-soul and we will miss him. Rest in peace, Loxy. You gave us a great deal of pleasure and fun. Love, Your Family.  xoxoxoxo………..

What can I say, I've been busy ...

Hi, Everyone. I’m sure you’re wondering where I’ve been. So much has happened since we last visited. Obama’s been re-elected, Will & Kate got married AND pregnant, and the Giants won the World Series, but nothing has been as great as my time away with my most favorite basketball, baseball, and soccer player, Robert! I am sooooooo lucky to have Robert as my special friend and I wanted all of you to meet him! I’ve known him for years and he’s always been so kind to me, picking me up and talking to me. Also, he thinks I’m really cute. But I want you all to know – Robert is the best! He’s the one who’s handsome, smart, kind, and a hardworking athlete. I can’t wait to see him again soon! Everyone, say “hi” to Robert!

Hmmm ....

This Woody guy is just too happy ...

Cleo's favorite

I was always Cleopatra's favorite. Marc preferred Jenkins. Cleo allowed me on the table to enjoy dinner with her and her friends. Jenkins had to wait and sometimes the poor boy didn't get anything at all. Marc was such an asp!

I was there ...

Chelsea called me a week before her wedding in a panic because she realized I had been left off the guest list. The poor dear was in tears. I told her not to worry and that I could alter my plans to attend. I insisted though that I would be the one to walk her down the isle. She was hesitant at first but we compromised and Bill was included.

Canoeing with "Poc"

Pocahontas was having a great time, she thoroughly enjoyed the canoe trip. I don't think Rocky the raccoon had a clue of where we were or what was going on. I was preoccupied with thoughts of ...

With the Mouseketeers

Walt called me last week to ask if I wanted to be in a group picture with the "Mouseketeers", Duh ... of course. They're the best. After the photo shoot we hung out and I talked with Walt about joining the group. His people are going to be calling my people sometime next week.
